Well, I hope it is not limited to school planning only, since I don't really do that anymore and I hate to be left out...
On second thought perhaps I should just pop in on occasion to bring balance to the force (oops, I mean "forum" )

Theresa, I'm convinced that you have some secrets up your sleeve that bring calm and peace to your family life. I call that the ultimate "order". So I look forward to everyone's take on what calm, peace, comfort, and orderliness looks like in different families. I know that I have become more relaxed in some areas and more disciplined in others over the years, changing based on the particular demands of my family life.
So many ways to go with this! I am interested in topics that fall into sharing...how to enjoy and really value time, space, and tasks...how to rightly prioritize prayer, personal care, relationships, home education, household chores, and ministry work. How to pull it all together.
I'm pretty sure that all of this can be tackled with a labeler .
Love,

It's funny, just last week I was talking to dh about acquiring a label maker. He was not convinced that it would make a huge difference in my organizational capabilities.

This is exciting news! I usually travel from post to post and blog to blog for organization and planning tips. To have it all in one spot will be such a blessing to many. Thank you!

I'd love it to have ideas for setting up your school room and dealing with the amount of STUFF that home schooling brings in - we're drowning in books here and I still have more on my list for DD for school since we don't use the library.
I'm open to any and all ideas for setting up a school room - I'm taking over half of master bedroom for the school room since it's the only place I've got, and I need ideas to separate the two areas.

I am so excited to see what sorts of organizational methods y'all use... I go nuts for that sort of thing... and yes, Suzanne, I *do* have a label maker!

We don't use the library because it's easier on my sanity and pocketbook not to. The fines were eating us alive - it comes out cheaper to just buy the books than to pay the constant fines for 2 hours overdue, tiny crayon mark, etc.
Maybe when DD is older we'll go back to using the library, but for right now all we use it for is the occasional story-time, summer reading program, and their used book sales.

We should have a sub-forum for BBA.
I should confess one major motivation for decluttering and selling and discarding books right now for me is.... so I can buy more books.

Um... that's the only reason to declutter and sell books, isn't it? Because you've run out of shelf space?
