Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Putting in another "beg" for geology for middle schoolers from Mary Daly. That would be a DREAM COME TRUE, Maureen!

The question came up about the possibility of offering middle school courses. Well, I've got the first middle school offering up and ready for registration. It's a lit class on Mark Twain for 7th and 8th grade for next fall. The link is http://tinyurl.com/hctwain

That's great, Maureen, but next fall the one who has been waiting here will finally be in high school - figures, huh . Twain is a great choice for that age.

Mary is swamped right now but she'd like to do it in the future. Pray her life lightens up so she can teach geology. That would be awesome! And thank you for the suggestion!!!

I'm sorry we're late for you Mary. But then you'll have lots of choices for high school at least.

Blessings,
Maureen :)

Thanks SO MUCH for checking with Mary, Maureen. I'm so encouraged that it is something she would like to do. Now I have a prayer focus, don't I? I'll bet you get her sooner or later, because my dd Annie and I will be praying.

This is such a wonderful thing that you are doing. It will be so fun to take advantage of when we have high school age kids. I mentioned the Twain class and heard a wail of "Saturday at 10 AM? But there's volleyball!!!" Sigh.

All the summer, fall, and spring courses will be up by the end of the week and ready for registration.

For middle school there's German, history, lit, and Latin. For high school there's all that plus theology, science, philosophy, and government.

I also have up 3 levels of Latin Summer Camp. I hope to also offer for summer camp -- historiography, SAT/ACT Prep, and apologetics.

That's the scoop. You can check the website to find links for more info: http://homeschoolconnectionsonline.com/online-catholic-cours e-catalog/ Also, I should have the course catalog available for free download by Friday.

Thank you everyone for your interest. I'm happy to answer any questions or address suggestions.

Blessings,
Maureen :)
