Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Just wanted to share....

For my high schoolers economics class I have used the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University School Curriculum materials. We have found it to be EXCELLENT!!

It teaches all about money matters from budgetting, loans, credit cards, saving money, and the importance of money management. My kids found it very beneficial and really liked the course. I highly reccomend it. Here's a link: Dave Ramsey

Jody - we are Dave Ramsey's class next year - I was doing it as a Personal Finance elective though - it really is excellent. I had not thought of doing as for Economics....

I would consider it a personal finance elective as well. The content of a high school level econommics class is different. Being versed in both aspects would be very beneficial for a well rounded education in this area as there are different parts of a picture.

Thank you, Maureen, for the information. I am glad to know of it; unfortunately, our son is busy at that time each week. Of course, I can file the info away for upcoming daughter and other children. Thank you again!

Just to update: With help from these posts and husband's input, we are putting together some hands-on and practical sources along with projects and discussion/sessions for father and son to supplement what our son has already done.

Thank you all so much!
