Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Thanks, Helen. I'll see if my husband can find the magazine out somewhere!

I might be repeating a link...forgive me if I'm being redundant.

I found some neat interactive maps of each stage of the tour.

Here's Stage 1.

I like the "print the trip" feature. The maps might be neat to print and study each day.

That's great Jen! I used the "print this trip" and a simiple line printed -- great for adding the names of important cities.

On my way to the doctor's office today, I stopped in at a Walden bookstore (same parent company as Borders) on the sale bookcase they had a French cookbook.

I found a similar recipe on line for Toulouse sausage with Puy lentils: Recipe

Is the tour going through Puy this year?

Here's a link to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Puy.

This is fun!!

Thinking nice thoughts (and prayers) for my far away friends!
I really *have* to get my Tour de France map out from its hiding place. This will be the first year in about ... how many years... that we didn't follow the Tour.

I was excited to see the Tour going through Brittany this year. Do you have any fun recipes to try? or other fun tips?
