Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Adding...

Devin is graduating from Arizona State University and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism.

<- not BIG enough!

Now I can rest easy and say YES homeschooling met our academic goals, but more importantly, gave us real life experiences and close relationships to weather many storms.

Go for it!

Love,

Well, I don't have a college graduate yet! I can't quite believe I have a college junior . . . that's a happy emoticon in itself, though. Halfway through, God willing! And what a good adventure it's been so far.

My daughter Hannah is graduating from the University of Dallas next Sunday. We are all flying out to see it. She's coming back to Virginia to get a Masters in Secondary Education (Social Studies) at Marymount University. We are all very proud of her!

It is good to hear about everybody's graduates! Huzzah!

My Emily will graduate from our homeschool in June and attend Thomas Aquinas College in August. We can hardly believe we're at this day. It seems like yesterday that we ordered Seton's Kindergarten curriculum. She was/is such a good student. Now, this many years later, we don't do a whole lot for kinder but those are some sweet memories.

I now have 3 who have graduated and gone off to college:

2007
Florida Institute of Technology-graduated in Applied Math, now getting a Masters in Mining Engineering at New Mexico Institute of Technology

2010
Boston University, Business School

2012
Colorado School of Mines, Petroleum Engineering

Positively mind-boggling, all of our collective homeschool grads:-)

Kelly, thanks for the happy update! I am looking forward to my own opportunity to post in this thread (hopefully within the year...we'll see!).

Kelly, it would be interesting to know how your young grads are doing as they enter the workforce, since they chose such interesting fields of study!
