Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I would imagine the truthfulness of the statement would have a lot to do with your family dynamics, dc, and the local school system. :)

Oh definitely! I absolutely agree!

I know that our faith is being taught as a lifestyle not a subject or as something that's not allowed to be mentioned.

Excellent point! A point that I wish our dear Bishop understood, and would therefore be more supportive of Catholic homeschoolers. There are just so many opportunities to model and teach our faith when we are with our DC all day. To be able to handle a conflict with mercy and forgiveness, followed by hugs and prayers is something absolutely beautiful about hsing.(That would be my ideal though-not my yelling, ranting, pull my hair out kind of day...)
