Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

So Nancy, can a non-science person like me (although I love science ... just got my major in other places) teach my children (who do not have a lot of exposure to science) biology using this text? Are there other living books that can help me out? How did you plan your labs (I have to find a supplier over here)? Please hold my hand as I step through this process.

But I made up for it in college, and in fact did my senior seminar in "Geological Thought."

Geological Thought....hmmm ....
So, does that mean you had "rocks in your head"?

No doubt whatsoever!
