Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

On the subject of dinner and meals in general. This year I made a schedule of our breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. I made five different menus for breakfasts and lunches and four weeks of menus with a master grocery list for each week. I made thses into cute posters and hung them on the fridge. They are only changeable by me and subject to leftovers. There is no more "what's for dinner, etc." and its great, It has worked wonderfully for us. I have made it part of my rule to have a dinner plan in my mind or started in a crockpot before we start schoolwork at 9:00am. It sounds pretty neurotic, I know, but I've found that keeping these people fed and having a plan makes us more free to enjoy life! Get a crockpot and a weekly plan-it helps relieve tons of stress. Plus you feel so good about yourself when you smell that dinner cooking!
Also, if you are making something freezable, and most things are, make twice as much and freeze. This works great for us. Nothing better than dinner already made!
