Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

It sounds like you found a GREAT plan to undue some of your stress! And it sounds like you're a GREAT homeschooling mom! My only word of advice is slow down and smell the roses.......ENJOY the journey! God will reward you for answering YES like Mary did!

I don't have much to add, and it sounds like you have a lovely plan, but I wanted to say "Hello" from a fellow Brit. Kathryn is right in that British four year olds are generally expected to do more academically than the average Pre-K kid in the US, so the pressure is on, isn't it? Also, home education is so much more "fringe" than in the US, so people tend to think you're a bit of a fruitcake to start with. The thing to remember is that with all the one-on-one focus and tailored-to-fit teaching, your little ones will learn so much in short, fun-filled periods of time. I hope your dh sees the fruit.

I was born in Lancashire .

that is soooooo true! I have prayed a lot about this, & I really believe that God is wanting my children to *play*
so, that is my main focus, now, but as well as free play, I am including maths play, etc etc
