This sounded so lovely when you posted. So after 3 days of me making bread fresh butter and canning, this is our plan for the day. I decided to make braided rugs today and sew them outside! I have my canning jars ready for their sun tea, and cream cheese on hand. Fabric strips are cut and ready to go, hopefully today will go MUCH smoother. This heat and humidity is not my cup of tea at all. Lets just say the polish wears off very quickly!!

Braided rugs are another great idea!

I hope a break in this weather is headed your way soon! I'm sitting right there sweltering with you in the no-air-conditioning-zone

Molly, are you holding session this week? I was thinking today and tomorrow would be perfect for the girls to create bouquets for the feast of the Assumption.

Assumption, Blessing of Herbs, Wheat, Grapes and Flowers from Cooking for Christ

Blessing of Fruits and Herbs on the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Of course, nothing like posting things at the last minute!

We don't have classes because of being ill, but if I feel better tomorrow we will use these for our family.
