Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm in the process of moving my blogger blogs and website all together to wordpress.org, and frankly it's harder than I expected. Well what's hard is finding the answers to my questions of 'how'.

Anyone comfortable enough with wordpress to answer some questions for me? Just image an icon with me banging my head on the desk, repeatedly

Not sure if I can help, but hit me with your questions and I'll see what I can do

Thanks

What I'm struggling to learn, oh and I'm using the Stained Glass theme, wordpress.org
I haven't even begun to look at moving my blogs yet, too nervous. I had to manually move the book site, copy and paste, which these questions are about. I've set the book site up on a sub-domain of my main domain

1- How to get links connected to images on home page?
Home page is static, I have my images on there (finally!) but images need links to lead to: blog/s, bookwebsite.

2-Boxes, with images and text and links included, how?
Want book images wrapped with text and want these in boxes. Found the shortcodes plugin and can get text in but not images haven't even tried links to books yet

3-Resize all book images to same size, can I?
want a uniform look, any easy way?

4-How to remove widgets from all pages?
for the book website, the front pages is static, the info is imported(from previous book site) and set up on pages. So I want to remove calendar, recent post, comments. Trying the usual widget section, they don't appear, so probably they are in the coding, I'd really rather not go there if there is another way.
