Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I hope this is the right forum for this!

My soon-to-be daughter-in-law is moving to Charlotte after her wedding this July! She'd like to become established as a piano teacher, especially for homeschoolers. Anyone know of any homeschooled groups in that area where she can make her presence known?

I moved this to Tea and Conversation. We have a few members from NC, I'm not sure what areas.

Lots of Catholic homeschoolers in Charlotte and surrounding areas. I can hunt around for some possible links, but I know that there are many homeschooling families at

St. Ann's, Charlotte
St. Michael's, Gastonia
St. Mark's, Huntersville

All of these are within relatively easy striking distance of Charlotte. It might be worth putting up flyers/putting an ad in the parish bulletin. She might also put up some flyers around Belmont Abbey, for faculty members to see.

We live in Lincolnton, which is about 30 miles northwest of Charlotte. Out this way Catholic homeschoolers are more spread out and thin on the ground, though we're mostly concentrated around our parish, St. Dorothy's in Lincolnton.
