Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Good morning ladies,
We found out Divine Mercy Sunday that we are expecting our 7th child! It seems like with our sixth we couldn't keep it a secret beyond 8weeks since I looked pregnant. All you mothers of many, how soon did you start to show?

During my 4th pregnancy, I remember that I showed very early - before the first trimester was even up. With my 6th (and last) pregnancy, though, I had just lost some weight and we were able to keep it secret for about 16 weeks. That was our latest announcement by far!

It varied.. more due to my comfort at wearing my normal clothes than anything.. and that was sensitivity rather than size. But I'm large enough up top that tops will hide pregnancy for a while.

The first time I brought my fifth baby to church I was told "I didn't know you were pregnant!" from one of the ladies

That's the effect of a magically expanding bust (and a dress that wasn't form fitting).

I don't remember ever feeling like I looked pregnant before the second trimester. Thicker around the middle maybe but no pregnancy shape.
