Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have a ds (23yo) who is moving to the Boston area in late August. I have never been there! We are totally confused, after searching various sites for a safe, affordable (Ha!,) and fairly easy commute to school. Ds does not mind taking public transportation, in fact, after reading guide book after guide book, and their warnings of Boston traffic , I think he would prefer taking public transit or walking, to venturing out with a car!

If anyone has any experience with the area, I would so appreciate suggestions in where to look (and where to avoid!)

This is a huge move for ds, and I am definitely going to miss him like crazy! But, I am trying to look on the bright side, as we are starting US History this fall with my youngest two.    And then there are so many other neat places to tour while we are out visiting, right!?!

I really appreciate any, and I mean ANY!, suggestions you may have!

Thank you!!!!

In Christ,
Stacy in MI

Boston is such a great place! Best wishes on his new adventure!

We live about 90 minutes from Boston (in NH), but I don't really have any advice I can offer. You will have so much to do when you visit, though!!
