Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Blessed All Saints Day and All Souls Day friends . Because you all are so kind and flexible, you will not even notice that this week's Shout Out isn't actually on Wednesday because Halloween rolled over everything!

All holding steady here. Our big news is that we have a wedding date and venue for Devin and Michael's wedding: June 8, 2013. Isn't that pretty?! Pray it isn't too too hot .

Blog post: Twitter kindness. If you aren't familiar with twitter, you might find it interesting. My appreciation for kindness online all started with this lovely gathering    . Oh, the picture is from DENVER

So I better post this before it is Friday . But before I do, 2 questions:

How are you doing?

What Halloween candy did you in? (Kit Kat & Peppermint Patties for me.    )

Love & prayers always,

Feeling bloated from all of the junky candy eaten since last night. Snickers are my favorite, but I am not picky. I'll eat it all. :)

Should get up and toss what is left........

Great photo of downtown Denver.

Congratulations on the wedding!

oh chocolate and peanuts combo works for me.. well anything really.. haven't met many candies I don''t like

Doing well.. busy busy.. but now that I've managed 10 costumes for halloween and 5 for All Saints (had two alter servers and the oldest and the two babies didn't dress up) I'm doing much better

Oh and got to Mass this evening and I stayed with my 5 in the entry to keep them under control until the CCD teachers were there to take charge of them.. and they never showed and Father "volunteered me" to take charge of them.. there was only 9.. so it wasn't like it was a hardship or anything.. just unexpected.. I'd been kinda looking forward to letting someone else have them for Mass

Love the picture Angie - that was the great view from their hotel. We don't often see a view like that ourselves (since we don't live on the 17th floor ) But it is pretty here - everyone, come visit! Never piped in last Wednesday shout out - and it was even about Denver. Had a great visit with Angie and her hubby and I was still basking in the joy of that.

We are actually heading up into the mountains this evening. Spending a couple nights with friends at a cabin.

It has been a very busy week here! Nursing home visit & party with residents on Friday, followed by trick or treating and a late night out with friends. Yesterday was Mass and a saint hunt with our group. Big All Saints party in the evening with the Servants of Christ Jesus. I won the adult category of the costume contest - St. Catherine of Siena. Threw it together at the last minute because ds wouldn't go in costume because I "wasn't dressing up." It was fun.

Today we have Mass an our annual cemetery visit with our group.

Candy favs if my children relinquish them - Reese and Payday

Allergies have hit me again! I am going in for allergy testing next week, so I can't take any allegy meds. I can take a decongestant, so I'm surviving.

Anything chocolate for me!

June 8th is a wonderful day! Birth date of one of my ds.

Mass was so empty last night! Music was beautiful though!

I agree with Cassie - anything chocolate!

We had a July wedding and it was hot, but beautiful. June should be lovely.

I dread Halloween and dragging the kids around by myself! Hubby usually works late because it's the EOM and financials have to be completed after he shuts down the store. I went with a friend this year, which was awesome!

Still trying to sell our house and feeling a bit of anxiety. I'm so ready to be gone from here, but at the same time I can't force anyone to buy my house. I keep repeating "Jesus I trust in You", so maybe one day I'll actually *feel* the trust that I intellectually believe in?

Had a birthday party for the two youngest last weekend. Always a good time when family gets together! Third son's actual birthday is this weekend, so another small family celebration and a trip to the store for a small treat.

Congratulations on the wedding! I had no idea!

Twix and Milky Way did me in, as well as the late night and late nights for All Saints and All Souls.
