Finally! We had an offer accepted on a house this weekend, and the people are moving out of state, so escrow is short--30 days. I am waiting for the trash company to deliver a dumpster right now, so I can start tackling our garage.

I am 43 years old, and we have been married for 14 years. We have waited a long time for this, our first house! We are excited and nervous, and a little overwhelmed.

So with all the sorting and packing to do (I am taking this opportunity to do a serious purge), and the start of Lent, I will be taking a break from the Internet after today.

God bless and enjoy the house ... have a wonderful lent. I personally believe that packing and moving are definitely sacrificial acts and are perfect for lenten activity!
