Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone else have this issue? It some serious fuzzy brain. I feel like I can tackle one, maybe two, tasks a day that require any brain power. I spent some time on the phone this am dealing with a local issue, and now I'm shot...I can't even remember what I walked the room for half of the time. Trying to read something longer than a page is useless, I don't retain a thing...

That pretty much describes motherhood to me. I joke that kids suck out our brain cells...it's a wonder you have many left.

Pregnancy has always made me even fuzzier. Mixed with the crazy emotions, I call it Pregnancy Insanity.

I understand what you are saying Barbara, and I've joked about it before, but it's begining to feel more like a little annoyance to me, and more like something is wrong? I dunno?

there is some degree of it that's just normal I think.. I feel like there's just so many things going on in my house that I can only remember a certain number and so something "falls off the other side".

But I also think there can be things that make us fuzzy headed that can be helped.. I have a friend that had some major problems with candida (systemic yeast) and one of the big symtoms she said was the fuzzy headed feeling.

Also not getting all the good fats the omegas.. can do that..

lack of sleep.. and if you seem to be getting "enough" sleep you might consider the quality of sleep as well.

lack of nutrition.. for myself I found that after the first several pregnancies I seem to have all my stores depleted and it's hard to keep up without supplementation.. so for myself I need to make sure I'm taking my vitamins.. though the flip side is if you're taking higher dose vitamins maybe you're getting too much. I take the higher dose ones and have noticed that.. while pregnant and immediately post partum that the full dose works well but after that.. a half dose seems to work better.

ruling out illness or allergy symptoms would be good too.

any major changes in diet.. such as eliminating caffiene can have temporary feelings of being less "on". Or if you've elimimated an allergen.. sometimes as your body releases more after certain amounts of time so that could be a more released time.

not getting exercise and/or fresh air and sunshine can also impact how well we're thinking.

This has been a major one for me Lisa. And I've noticed it more the older I got. After Cecilia (31), they were helpful. After James (33), I could tell I was taking them most days. After Joseph (35), I can tell if I skip a day.

This has been a major issue for me like never before, after any birth. I do suffer these sort of problems to a certain degree in the first year after birth but it has been greatly magnified this year. Maybe the combination of birth affects and fighting health issues.

I have had trouble expressing myself, the need to repeat things over again, confused thinking, forgetting things mid-sentence, wandering around the house, wondering why.. , more tunnelled in my thinking processes, especially considering my nature is one that thinks fast and on many levels at once...it just seems to have all gone.   I HOPE it comes back once this year passes.

Oh, there is another thing, I've started writing, there when I need to write their and viz versa, and other similar word mistakes, I make them when I am touch typing, when I proof read I pick them up immediately - this is something new and very annoying.
