Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I jsut had to say thanks to all you guys who set up this Forum.

It's really come home to me over the past week or so -- reading about Lissa having another little one, reading about Cay having to leave her home, reading about all the ups and downs of all you wonderful parents and families keeping it together for the Faith and trying to homeschool your children to the best of your ability --

I've only met a few of you all in person, but I feel like I KNOW most of you! I weep with you, pray with you, cheer with you.....

I give you advice but receive much more than I can ever give.

What a blessing to be part of this online community -- THANKS TO ONE AND ALL

Mary, we'll all be over for coffee later !

The truth is, whenever I do meet someone from this forum, it is as if we have known each other forever. It's very fun to get together, and I highly recommend it. I totally share your sentiments...if only we really lived as close as we feel sometimes, it would be an amazing community.

Mary,

It IS a blessing and I second the round of thanks.

I would be so lost without the support of this wonderful community. It is an honor to be able to offer prayers and support even in little ways.

I just had the opportunity to meet a few people IRL and it was wonderful. This group is so full of kind and generous people.

Yes, it is a great idea.

Many people think I m weird, having internet friends, friends whom I have never met. But this helps me feel connected with others....

Okay, I am probably also weird.

Thanks for the forum idea!

I speak about people on this list and pray for them as if they are real friends I see every day. And to me you all are friends I "see" everyday. It is just a little hard to explain to others who have not experienced it.

Yes, I do the same thing. My husband rolls his eyes at me, but then I remind him that I met one of my best friends through a Catholic site years ago and we still keep in touch!
I think that praying for eachother as we do really does make us truly connected.
