Hi everyone! My name is Nikki and I am new to the group. I home school my 4 children in Omaha - Ben (8), Anna(6), Grace(4), and Sophia (newborn). I am still working at finding the teaching style that works best for me but after reading Real Learning, it seems to describe what works for me best. I have gone from unschooling to using some curriculum and Real Learning seems to be that happy medium that I am moving toward.

I am so happy to be a part of this group!!!

I also do some writing and illustrating in my spare time (which is very little, of course). I would love to find out from you "experts" who have a part time business or write on the side, how do you balance both home schooling and that? I can't imagine giving up either one as I love and feel called to both! Any insight would be appreciated.

Can't wait to get to know you!
