Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I just find it humerous as I sit here reading posts that my breadmaker is buzzing, the washer is whirring, the dryer is drying and my new Roomba is vacuuming and I am enjoying a break.
Funny how things can be easier when you tap into technology. I fought it for years. Dh begged me to get a digital camera and I finally did last year. I guess I have arrived?
Never thought I'd have this vacuuming robot thing but he is now my best friend

They are your electronic servants!!!!
Love a night when I can hear the breadmaker, the dryer, the dishwasher and know that the crockpot is plugged in. Now, THAT's a good evening!

Okay...this sort of changes the topic...but...so this Roomba thing really works?? I've always been skeptical. How much can it hold? Can it do at least one whole room at a time???

I was skeptical too but I asked around-when I saw them in peoples houses-and heard only positive things. I figure even if it isn't the greatest vacuum it'll do better than my not vacuuming at all. And it is a pretty decent vacuum.
It can do a whole room in about 45 minutes. Prep the room, close the door and let him work. I am loving it as I have a lab and while she doesn't shed tremendously, she does leave some around. So each day he does a room. Better than nothing.

We have a mopping robot - got it for Christmas, the kids were all excited - we call it Noo Noo, after the vacuum cleaner on Teletubbies.

I want the mopping robot!!!

I was talking to DH the other day about how 100 years ago, we homeschool mothers would all hava had servants to wash and clean for us.
Today we have vacuum cleaners, dishwashers, washing machines and dryers (or at least some of the above!) instead!
The digital camera is great though... I love that I can CHECK my pictures!

I do love my digital camera. Except I find I have more photos because my kids(and dog)are just so darn cute. I have trouble deleting photos That makes simplifying a little difficult. At least they are on the computer and not in a box in the closet.

Hmmm. The Roomba and the Scooba sound wonderful. Of course, I really like my Dyson....sigh. No animals here, though. Just dusty dirty dc. LOL.

I don't even have a dishwasher (other than the 7yr old and myself, lol). I am seeking to remedy that asap. LOL

But the digital camera. Oh yeah. Love that.
