Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

...if you had a $50 Gift Certificate that your Mom gave you for your Birthday, and said that she wanted you to spend it on yourself and not just on homeschool books or books for the children?

I have Susan Branch's Days from the Heart of the Home in my cart...but I am overwhelmed with all the possibilities for the rest of it.

Anyone have any good suggestions?

Not to harrass you, but given your thread on planners, maybe a book on that topic?

I like David Allen's Getting Things Done....

Maybe it's not an "issue" in your life, but that's just what popped in my head after the novel I wrote on your planner thread!

Do you have the Katherine Valentine books? about Dorsetville? First one is Miracle for St. Cecilia's

They're light reading and really enjoyable.. Something for those times when you're too tired to delve into something serious.. but you have a bit of reading time.
