Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Anyone have a cordless hand vac or broom vac that has strong power and lasts long enough to clean up lunch crumbs.

No pet hair, but lots of play-doh pellets.

I was looking at this broom vac but mostly because it comes in fun colors.

I really just need something the kids can use for quick clean-ups and avoid having to haul up the big canister vac.

Thanks ~

I'm interested in responses to this, too. Ds needs one in his room to clean up the seed each morning from the parakeet.

I've had 2 Black & Decker Dustbusters - was not pleased with their suction power.

We have a Scorpion, which I bought in 2005, but it's lately taken to creating weird blue sparks which I have not had time to diagnose. I will check this out this week; it's my tool of choice for getting cat hair off of stairs, furniture, etc. I've really liked its performance until ds told me about the sparks...

Dustbusters are not a good choice, as Tami says.

I have this one:eureka optima lightweight
It isn't a hand vac, but it is so lightweight the kids enjoy using it. It is great to take out for little messes, but powerful enough to clean a whole rug if I don't want to drag out the big shop vac.
I am pretty sure I got mine at Target.

Theresa ~

I've always wondered...are bagless vacs easy to clean?

Thanks for the input.

I'm obviously taking a break from planning next year's lessons to focus on other things!

I LOVE the bagless vac. Just pull out the cylinder and dump it out. Then every once in awhile clean the filter with a stiff brush.
