Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hello everyone! Although I do not post often, I just love this forum! My homeschooling journey is so much easier knowing you all are "here".

I am wondering if there are any CM, Catholic homeschooling foster parents out there? I have thought about this for awhile and have decided to begin research. We have 3 children of our own-2 boys ages 8 and 6, and a girl 3 1/2. I have so many questions...my main would be though...if you are a homeschooling foster parent, what has the effects been on your own children? On your marriage? Positive and negative...please!!

Pray for our family that if God is opening our hearts to this, that we listen. Thanks so much in advance. I knew I could count on you!!

hi all, i'm reviving this question from charlotte as a i have a friend with one child (not a homeschooler though) who's considering becoming a foster parent and is asking for our input. her questions then would be similar to charlotte's, i think. anyone have any experience with this? pros, cons?
