Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I recently received an email from The Baldwin Project about their new venture called Gateway to the Classics - http://www.gatewaytotheclassics.com/

It looks like it could make it a lot easier to use the wealth of materials the Baldwin Project has available. I think they are tying into other resources as well, as it looks like they are making it easy to find audio versions of materials they have prepared. And there appears to be support for making it easy to schedule memory work, poetry, and picture studies.

It reminds me of the Simply Charlotte Mason planner, but with more work already done for you. I'm not sure if you can add your own modules - for example to add materials that would be specifically Catholic or to use something from a source other than the Baldwin Project.

It is a subscription based offering - $99.95/yr regular price, with a discount for early subscribers (that lasts as long as you subscribe) for $49.95.

I haven't signed up for it, but I'm thinking about it... it could make planning and scheduling out resources much easier. But I'm also not sure I want to tie myself to just the Baldwin books - there's materials from Heritage History as well as Catholic materials that I am using as well. But still... a very interesting idea!

If anyone has signed up for it, I'd love to hear your thoughts!!

A guest reading here suggested you check out Gutenberg Project to download books. It doesn't come with a lesson planner, but it is free!
