Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I keep a reading log and a video log of all our read alouds. Now my son is beginning to read on his own. I cant decide whether or not to include those books in our log. He does usually read them aloud to us but that would make a lot of record keeping. Would love to know what others do.

I do but I generally get more serious about this when they are in Grade6. And then some of the children keep their own logs, also I certainly 'miss' recording some of the books.
Perhaps you could just record his favourites?

if the books are from the library and you get a print out of materials, you could tape it in a notebook and indicate which he read aloud and which you read to him.
God bless,
