Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Love this quote, posted this week by Catholic Digest:

No one can live continually in sin and continue to say the Rosary. Either he will give up the sin or he will give up the Rosary.
Bishop Hugh Doyle

Do you find this to be true in your life? I do! It made me think... and then realize that even though I may not always feel like I am making progress in eliminating certain sins from my life, maybe I really am.

Many days I fail, but the desire to do better grows and grows. I believe that is the grace that comes straight from the rosary.

It certainly has given me hope this week.

Interesting thought. Since I started saying the rosary with local Catholic homeschooling moms, my life certainly has changed. I am much more aware of my inner life and my outward sins.

I have the Faith like child that this is true!

I also love these quotes on the Rosary. It's the weapon for our times!

“The most holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has given a new efficacy to the recitation of the Rosary to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, whether temporal or spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, that cannot be solved by the Rosary. There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the holy Rosary. With the holy Rosary, we will save ourselves; we will sanctify ourselves; we will console our Lord, and obtain the salvation of many souls.”
Sr. Lucia, One of the Seers at Fatima

The Rosary is a powerful weapon to put the demons to flight and to keep oneself from sin...If you desire peace in your hearts, in your homes, and in your country, assemble each evening to recite the Rosary. Let not even one day pass without saying it, no matter how burdened you may be with many cares and labors."
Pope Pius XI

The Rosary is the most excellent form of prayer and the most efficacious means of attaining eternal life. It is the remedy for all our evils, the root of all our blessings. There is not more excellent way of praying.
Pope Leo XIII

[T]he Rosary, next to the Mass, is the most powerful weapon in the Church's arsenal. You have access to the weapon and we need to start using it everyday.
Pope Pius IX

Great quotes! The rosary is life changing, truly.

We had a bishop who always said the rosary is the most powerful weapon in the world. He would give homilies about it- how we have at our fingertips the most precise, efficient, powerful, life changing weapon in existence... right in our own homes.
