I try to make a batch every year, and they are always good but not great.
Today I tried the Mall Pretzels recipe from All Recipes.

Score! These are very, very similar to the pretzels at the mall. My ds especially was very happy (since I am not inclined to spend $3.86 per pretzel at the mall, which we hardly ever go to anyway ).

There is even a video recipe with this one.
