Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Your tip about using Turtle Wax in the bathtub/shower is hands down, the best cleaning idea I have ever received.

My husband didn't think it would work. It did. And it has for four weeks.

We love you!!!!!

What do you use the Turtle was for? and most importantly, what IS Turtle Wax?

Yes, inquiring minds want to know. I think I missed this tip the first time around.

Turtle Wax is a wax for cars specifically. But it was recommended by Rachel in this thread Your Best Housecleaning Recipes, Please (second post down) as a way to keep the bath tub clean from build up.

Wow! I saw a thread with my name in it--and it was actually about ME!

LOL

That reminds me, tomorrow, I've got to do my bathroom tub.

LOL

Glad it worked for you! It also works on sinks (obviously, you can do the whole thing!), especially those sinks with shaving "residue", etc, that gets left. MUCH easier to clean that way.

Honestly, if I could just Turtle Wax the children's bedrooms, it would be SO much easier...

SIGH

Turtle Wax is a car wax. Walmart still sells the spray on stuff I bought years and years ago (and it doesn't take much to do the job, really). A little goes a long way. No buffing, or so on...just spray and wipe. And you are dooone! For a very very very long time!

I forgot about this one! I need to go get some. My sinks are driving me crazy (or more to the point, my children who keep using excess amounts of toothpaste which end up lining the sink do).
