either works.. I like to freeze raw because I can cook it from frozen and don't end up with it overcooked or having to thaw it first. Freeze on cookie sheets and then put them into a ziplock bag and you can take only what you want use from the bag.

I like to cook first......then, I can just grab and thaw during the day and reheat for dinner...I do not always cook the meatballs 100% so they can still cook a bit......

I cook them medium rare. That way I can toss them frozen into the crock pot on low with some sauce for the afternoon.

I freeze my meatloaf raw. Of course, since I mix 2-3 up at a time, in my mixer, and then 'plop' 1/2- 1/3d of the mixture onto sheets of aluminum foil, wrap them up, and toss them into the freezer, well, my method is a bit...lazy.

But, my children like my meatloaf. So I cannot complain too much about the end results.
