Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone have an air purifier they like and can recommend?

And could you please pray for me? Something has come up here, necessitating the air purifier question, that is like the last huge straw on this camels back. Thanks.

I will pray Amy!
I don't know what you can spend but I like the Boss Air Purifier from the Ewater site. I have the Large Room size, but you can get ones for bigger or smaller areas. . . I bought this a while ago when I found out we had really bad black mold in our basement. It was the only thing that killed all the odor and all the mold in that house. Now in our house now I keep it running all the time -- it keeps the air smelling fresh. I love it. I love how small and compact it is. We even bring it with us when we go to the beach, for example, as the mold predominant in beach houses always bothers me and esp. one of my daughters.

Aside from the up front price, it is an expensive investment as every 18 mos-2yrs it needs a new filter, which is over $100. Sometimes I ask for the filter for my birthday. Sometimes I just save and wait. It is worth it to me -- I had asthma really bad as a teenager and clean air is so important to me.

The other awesome thing about it is that it kills odors on new carpets/area rugs or even new PVC shower curtain liners that give me headaches. I close the new rug (or whatever is smelling) in the bathroom with the purifier overnight and the smell is gone the next morning.

Hope that helps.
Hugs and prayers.
