Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I would really like to buy a food processor. I had one years ago. I'm thinking it would be a big help in the kitchen.

I have a blender, and a KA mixer, so I'm not looking for a combo. I'd love to have a Bosch, but that purchase is way down the road for us.

What would you ladies recommend? I'd like something with a fairly large capacity. And can I get one for less than $100? I told dh in early January that that would be possible. Am I right, or out of touch with reality?

If it's something carried by Walmart, that could work, as we're headed there hopefully this Friday if the weather holds up (it's a 2 hour trip - we haven't been out of town since the beginning of November ). Otherwise I will have to order online - Amazon, whatever. Oh, and there's a Target and Kohl's where we're going on Friday, too.

I just don't want to spend a lot of time browsing/comparison shopping for a food processor on Friday - time is precious when shopping there!

Thanks so much!

I have a Kitchen Aid food processor. I ordered it from Amazon when they were having a a great sale. I think it was around $100 on sale, but I don't remember. Anyway, it has worked really well for me!

Thanks, Lisa. I'll go look for it. How's the capacity? I have 3 boys who eat like adults, plus dh, well.... you get the idea....

Tami,

Mine is only the 7-cup capacity, but so far that has been plenty big for me. The KA 12-cup capacity are around $50 more, I think.
