Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Can anyone recommend one of these - which can cook about 10 burgers or steaks at a time? We no longer have an outdoor grill - and I was never very adept at doing the outdoor grill anyway - and I would so like to do burgers and steaks easily.

I have some Linens n Things vouchers I could use - but have never seen one or know anyone who uses one.

Ours is not that big but I do like my George Foreman grill. I cook chicken, burgers and steaks on it. I plan to use it a lot this year because I dislike starting the gas grill.

It is easy to use and easy to clean.

We use ours almost every day. We got the one that was half grill and half griddle (flat). It's huge (for our counter space), but worth the space and money for sure.

We just got rid of ours! I freecycled it. We liked the results but dreaded cleaning the thing. I understand that now they make models with removable grill plates which you can slip into the dishwasher. I'd definitely go for that one if it is an option.

I LOVE my George Foreman Grill. I use it several times a week.

A cleaning tip- when you unplug the grill put a damp paper towel on the grill and and close the lid. That loosens everything and makes cleanup a snap!

I toss mine in a sink with hot soapy water, then to the dw after the meal.
The taste of burgers is different than an outside grill. Just FYI. But we are used to it and actually like the change. The meat is moist instead of broiled.

I use mine a lot- and it's an old one with plates that can't be removed to clean. I use Elena's tip- spray down the grill with water and vinegar, slip in a paper towel and close the lid. Clean up is very easy. I know there are larger models than what I have (cooks about 4 burgers at a time).

I've also found that it can be really good for grilling up slices of frozen garlic bread to go with pasta. I haven't been using mine as much lately due to space issues and I also have one of the old, harder-to-clean ones. We've had ours for almost eight years and used the heck out of it.
