But, we have a whole set of china that her grandmother gave me(but it's going to my dd 
) And, I've been saving special baby dresses for her to use with her little ones, and special books. Also, some pretty lace we found at a fabric sale that can be curtains or a nice tablecloth. I was sort of hoping that as she grew, her dad and I could give her a nice gift for her hope chest each year. I also really wanted to focus on the spiritual - because what if she discerns a vocation to the religious life? So I thought it might be neat to include a card each year with a spiritual bouquet from her dad and I praying for her discernment of her future vocation.
