Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

i am working on getting together a home management notebook. i had tried to make my own cleaning lists organized by what tasks are needed to do each week and month. i have seen some things online, but not organized chronologically. what i want to do is to be able to look at the list and see what i should try do get done each day. so things dont get to far behind. does anyone have lists like that or know where you can get them online? thanks

I've been working on this list by taking various lists and combining them for my needs. It's a daunting task. I was never taught all that needs to be done on a weekly, monthly, etc. basis. Of course, I can't really blame my mother. We immigrated here when I was 3 and houses are different here than where she grew up. For most things, you just wiped down or swept. There was no need to clean the switchplates, wipe down molding, etc.

I'd love to see a list too. Oh, one other thing. I just checked out of the library a wonderful book that sort of helps by listing things that need to be cleaned and then in the back it lists how often these tasks should be done. It's an easier read than the Martha Stewart or the Home Comforts book. The book is called Real Simple Cleaning.

Monica, I've been working on chore lists too. I've put up weekly and daily so far. I have a monthly/seasonal/annual list as well, but it still needs tweaking.
