For those that receive the DIY Network, you might enjoy Knitty Gritty, hosted by Vickie Howell. She's a little more hip than I, so not everything is appealing to me.

Yesterday was a sick on the couch day, and ds and I watched the episode about [http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/shows_dkng/episode/0,2046,DIY_18180_40463,00.html]Dyeing Yarn[/url]. I found it fascinating, so did ds. The website gives so many further resources and tips.

Seems there is a magazine that includes some of the projects. But I'm not rushing to make (or wear) any legwarmers in this life!

Vickie Howell also has some books out and as Jenn says it's all pretty hip and groovy ... but some of us with older kids may find some interesting stuff....

New Knits on the Block, NOT Another Teen Knitting Book, and Knitty Gritty Knits. Most library systems seem to carry these so check 'em out ... some really fun stuff!
