Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm clearing things out, and I'm trying to find more creative ideas than just Goodwill for recycling toys we don't need. (I'm also researching for a possible article.) Many of these toys are in good condition but the toy drives around Christmas, etc., that I've seen want new toys only. What do you do with outgrown/culled toys that aren't trash?

Before we moved we would donate used toys to Vietnam Veterans. They came right to our house and picked items up. They even sent out bags to put the items in beforehand.

You might also check with the soup kitchen/food programs.

You might also see if you have a pre-k program or nursery at church and donate them there. We have a "white elephant/garage sale" "shop" at Church that sells things REAL cheap but it's 100% profit because of volunteers and it's in the Church basement.
