It was really her first go with the seam ripper and she did a great job but does anyone know why they'd sew shut the pockets? I mean, I've bought some nice clothes (like Anne Taylor) before where things like pleats were lightly sewn down and you snipped a thread and pulled and presto - a swirly skirt! But kid pants' pockets deliberately sewn shut? What a waste of thread, material and time!
