Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I've had abnormal bleeding for the past 1.5 months (only 6 non-bleeding days since January 20, though some days have been lighter than others). I've seen my regular OB (pro-life, but not NaPro), and my regular doctor and they told me I was still within normal range, although I saw the regular doctor when I hadn't started with the bleeding yet.

Any recommendations? My OB's suggesting I take Provera for 2 weeks, but I'm afraid of the risks.

I'm contacting my local Creighton person today to hopefully get help in that direction, but if anyone has advice I'd appreciate it!

No advice. Commiseration though. I had really heavy bleeding for short time periods-maybe a week. Never got it checked out but it was hard. Never knew when. Missed my "signs" like cramping, moodiness, etc. Always had to be prepared-towels, lots of supplies. That time period of craziness lasted a year or two. Never did anything about it and it passed. I think I am good now.

There are some herbal options that might help with hormone regulation. Like Red Raspberry leaf, Vitex, Black Cohash, supporting the adrenals (B complex and C are huge here).
