Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My sister is one month out from her c/s. She needs something simple and not expensive, and not big horse pills. She is feeling a little anxious and tired, and I want her to boost some areas to help prevent PPD if she can.

Any advice.

I found these gummy prenatals easy to take. I don't do well with horse pills myself.

However, you can't get iron in a gummy, so if she thinks she might be anemic (not sure if that is an issue with a c-section?), I would suggest floradix for iron or even a nettle tea.

Magnesium is important for absorbing other vitamins and minerals, and low magnesium can contribute to anxiety. An easy fix (except that I know it can be hard with littles) is to take a tub with Epsom salt regularly.

And finally, Vit. D is important for fatigue. I took the Rainbow Light gummies and got my levels from 10 to 35 while pregnant taking 3000 ius a day. However, they were sort of stuck there, and my chiropractor has me taking a concentrate that I just put five drops under my tongue. Both easier than swallowing a pill.

I took these with my last pregnancy. They are not a prenatal but just a good multivitamin. New Chapter Tiny Tabs. You need to take 6 but they are very small---don't feel like a full meal after you take them.
