Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

OK- where can I find a presentation for introducing mats for Montessori work? I know one of you has just the kind of thing I'm looking for right at your finger tips, but I've been cruising around tonight at different sites and can't find what I am looking for- maybe because I'm tired and my brain is fuzzy.

Also- where did you buy your mats? I know many of you have been so creative- please tell me (or show me) what you are using and where you found it.

After we get moved to our new house I plan to set up my learning center and start at the very beginning with how to use a mat and what the trays are for. I have a general idea of how to present these, but I would love to have a printed page in my binder.

Rolling Up a Rug

Walking Around a Rug

Carrying a Rug

Unrolling a Rug and Carrying It

These are what we use. I couldn't find anything that would work in the stores. I know some have, so I would suggest looking at Target or something first, but I could only find fuzzy rugs I like the ones I ordered very much.

ThanK you! The one place I didn't look. And, as luck would have it, dh is currently in India for work and was asking if I wanted a sari. I'm going to ask him to bring home rugs!
