Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hello, our family of 9 just finished reading My Big Book of Catholic Bible Stories. This was one of those books for a good read through of the bible. We liked it although it did get long.

I am in need of some new family devotional, prayer, or other time. Something for at night after dinner. Something no more than 10 minutes long. Kids are 4-16 yrs which makes a large area but that's ok. I'd actually like to hit the 12-16 yr range this time as the book mentioned was obviously childish for them.

Would love any suggestions for a good family time. Thanks!

I am currently reading Legends and Stories of Italy by Amy Steedman to my children. The book is full of faith-filled stories and might be just what you want.
