Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

In A Living Faith forum they are talking aboutBlessing of Children

My husband blesses the children before he leaves for work.In the past, when we were waiting for a child through adoption, my husband blessed the children he could see, and then offered a blessing to the child who was waiting for us. He often asked his guardian angel to bring the blessing to the child.

Helen,

We have started the process for our next adoption. We will probably name her Rachel. We pray every night for her safety, health, etc. but I never thought of sending our guardian angel to bring the blessing to her. What a great idea!

My SIL and her husband also pray for the birth mom of their future child every night.

We all send our guardian angels to Guatemala every night. My ds led our night prayers the other evening and was so cute asking his guardian angel to kiss his sister and tell her to come home soon!

I think the Holy Spirit prompted me to this b/c I worry so about separation anxiety for our dd when we bring her home.

Thank you for this beautiful reminder Helen!

God bless,

Mb
