Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Any recomendations for books specifically focusing on home schooling at the high school level? I have been reading many of the high school posts with much interest as my oldest will be a 9th grader next year. They are very helpful, but sometimes I just like to have a book in my hands.

I haven't read too many, other than High School of Your Dreams, which is really a planning guide for specific subjects and a method for recordkeeping, but I know some newer titles are out there.

I really liked Cafi Cohen's "And What About College?". It was more about gathering information for putting together college applications and transcripts. She talks a bit about how she homeschooled each of her teens. She has another book that I haven't read called "Homeschooling".
