Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Did anyone do one or more of these? And if so - did you do them as soon as you completed a course rather than wait until Junior/Senior year?

Thanks.

Hi everyone, I love this discussion. None of my college kids took the SAT subject tests. My 15 year old took the Biology SAT last year and did fairly well. I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has experience with the Math I and Math II SAT Subject test. My 17 year old wants to apply to a college that requires either Math SAT for admission. Anybody?

We did not do these. Getting my son to go through repeated SAT experiences was enough!

My son has taken 3 SAT subject tests and did very well. I would recommend taking them as soon as possible after the material is studied. He took US History and chemistry at the end of his sophomore year. He took the Math II SAT subject test this fall as it was a required test where he was applying. He had to go back and review the material that was on the test as it only tests up through trig. He ended up scoring an 800 even though he is sure that he missed a couple of questions. Taking the subject tests is not at all like taking the SAT test. The individual tests only last an hour and then you can leave. If you take two tests at one sitting, it takes about 2 hours and then, once again, you can leave.

Thanks for bringing this up! Yet another thing we're trying to make decisions about right now.
