Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Would love to compile a listing of possible picture books to illustrate the works of mercy - mostly corporal works probably, as I think it is going to be harder to come up with ones for spiritual.

Corporal Works of Mercy

Feed the Hungry: The Doorbell Rang
Give Drink to the Thirsty: The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind
Clothe the Naked: One Thousand Tracings
Shelter the Homeless:
Visit the Sick:
Ransom Captives:
Bury the Dead:

Spiritual Works of Mercy

Instruct the Ignorant :
Counsel the Doubtful :
Admonish the Sinner:
Bear Wrongs Patiently:
Forgive Injuries:
Comfort the Sorrowful:
Pray for the Living and the Dead:

Have some thoughts and will add later. Post your ideas and we will incorporate them into list.
