I picked up Loaves & Fishes from the thrift store a while ago and was pleasantly surprised at the faithful rendering of the Bible story, coupled with decent illustrations. As you all know, picture book Bible stories are a dime a dozen but rarely feel inspired; most are twaddle-rific. With last Sunday's gospel, it was a timely find.

There are of course some great exceptions, but these focus mostly in the Old Testament. So when I discovered that Helen Caswell has done a number of NT picture books,I was surprised and delighted.

Still... information on them is hard to find... and amazon doesn't offer many pictures. Does anyone know anything about these other titles of hers? Listed here. (oddly, Loaves & Fishes is not listed there... )
