The Blizzard's Robe by Robert Sabuda seems to be OOP but our local library had it. What a feast for the eyes! The art is done in batik and the colors are glorious on every page.

The story tells the legend of a native people in northern Canada on how the beautiful northern lights came to be, through the unwarranted kindness of a young girl. Like many native myths, this one offers a great lesson in using personification to tell a story.
