Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

OK, I searched and saw this series WITHIN different topics on this forum, but not as a GREAT picture book series in and of itself. Mousekin is a little, white-footed mouse who navigates the seasons and holidays as we join his adventures. He's a completely wild, natural mouse in his natural environment. The pictures are lovely. Some of the series are: Mousekin's Golden House, Mousekin's Thanksgiving, Mousekin's Christmas Eve, Mousekin's Easter Basket, and Mousekin's Close Call. There is also an alphabet book and a book about Mousekin's birth. All of these are treasures!

Oh, we love Mousekin. I almost included Mousekin's Christmas Eve in my list of top 10 reverent Christmas picture books, but refrained. Thought maybe anything with a mouse really couldn't be considered reverent. But...it really is...

What's your favorite one, Tina? I can't decide beteen the Christmas Eve and the Golden House.

I can't believe that Mousekin hasn't had its own post before now.

Thanks for posting this, Tina. The pictures are wonderful.

We love Mousekin so much!!!!! But some of them are pretty hard to find. My favorite is Mousekin's ABC's, but they really are all wonderful.

Jody-

Edna Miller is the author. Amazon has them used for not too much. My library only has a couple, but we love them
