The Firefighters' Thanksgiving

Another great Thanksgiving find...
This follows a group of firefighters through Thanksgiving Day. I really liked how it showed the firefighters serving others, especially on a holiday. They start out with high hopes of making themselves a dinner but have one interruption after another. As the day progresses the pictures show them becoming more and more weary. At one point they have to throw out their pie crust and start over.

This book made us stop and think about what it means to truly serve others.
