Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Fair, Brown & Trembling

By: Jude Daly

An Irish Cinderella Story

Gracie found this at the library and we just read it. I was excited because I though we found another "Cinderella" story for Cay's A Picture Perfect Childhood, but, alas, it is in there and we must have missed it.

We loved this because "Cinderella" goes to Mass every week dressed in a beautiful gown and leaves as soon as Mass is over causing everyone to search for this beautiful girl----she does marry the prince and there is a great picture at the end of the book, showing the prince, princess and their 14 children---

A Cinderella story not to be missed!
